Hotfix update April4

Hey InZoi fans!

If you’re a creator, a modder, or simply someone enjoying InZoi, you’ll be happy to know that a new hotfix update has been rolled out! While InZoi continues to evolve, this update is packed with tweaks and fixes that aim to enhance your gameplay and smooth out some previously tricky issues.

Hotfix Highlights

Here’s a breakdown of what’s been updated:

Age Adjustment Feature:

It’s now possible to adjust the aging process in your game! This means you can have a little more control over how your Zois age, giving you more flexibility for gameplay. You’ll find this new option in the Game Options menu, under Simulation.

Improved Sleep Duration:

If you’ve noticed Zois napping for an uncomfortably long time, this one’s for you! The sleep behavior has been adjusted for smoother gameplay. Zois now get a little more active during the day without the extended downtime.

Slower Karma Changes:

Ever felt like Zois’ moods swung a bit too quickly? With this update, Karma progression is more gradual, preventing those sudden emotional outbursts. You can also tweak the Civic Consciousness and Karma settings in the City Edit menu for even more control.

Relationship Progression Tuning:

Many of you have pointed out that relationships were progressing a bit too quickly. Based on feedback, this has been adjusted, especially for families you control directly. It’s now a little more natural, but you can always fine-tune the speed if you want to change things up.

Pregnancy & Birth Fixes:

A couple of tricky bugs related to pregnancies have been squashed. Whether it was the “Give Birth” interaction not working or visual bugs during pregnancy, these issues should no longer cause interruptions. Just a heads up—this fix applies only to new games.

Additional Tweaks

While those were the major changes, there were also some smaller improvements to enhance your experience:

• Zois now eat immediately after cooking, so no more waiting for them to enjoy their hard-earned meals!

• Emotional buffs now properly expire, ensuring that Zois’ moods shift as they should.

• Minor sound fixes and error popups that will give you better feedback when issues occur.
